My Life as a Cowboy (Omnibus Theatre)

Joshua Goodman and Tiny Window Productions present:

My Life As A Cowboy

The hilarious and heartwarming new queer comedy about
embracing your weird side and showing up for your mates.

Written by Hugo Timbrell  |  Directed by Scott Le Crass

Omnibus Theatre, 27 Aug - 8 Sep 2024

Following its knockout out premiere production at the Park Theatre in 2022 comes this brand new production of Bruntwood-longlisted playwright Hugo Timbrell’s masterful teenage comedy drama.

MY LIFE AS A COWBOY kicked off Omnibus Theatre’s autumn season 2024. This new production was directed by acclaimed director Scott Le Crass (Rose, West End, starring Maureen Lipman).

The play stars up-and-coming queer multimedia artist Harry Evans as Connor, a gay teenager from Croydon suffocated by suburbia and obsessed with country and western music. When he somehow convinces his unlikely friends – conservative muslim classmate Zainab (Nusrath Tapadar) and straighter-than-straight lifeguard buddy Michael (Callum Broome) – to perform with him in a talent show, boundaries, friendships and dreams are tested.

My Life As A Cowboy is published by Methuen and was released to coincide with this production.
